These are some of the Interior Design Styles available in the Indian Market as of now.


  1. Minimalism

    Minimalism is part of or a derivation of the Modern Architectural Style that emerged after World War II and centers on the concept "Less is More". It removes Ornamentation and focuses only on the minimal elements needed for the Functionality. Minimalistic Interior Style focuses on Simplicity, Functionality, Clean Lines,Vacant Spaces and Monochromatic color themes. It usually combines an Open Floor Plan, Lots of Light, and Functional Non-Ornate Furniture,


  2. Contemporary Luxury

    Contemporary Luxury Interior style is similar to Minimalistic Style with Clean Lines and Open Floor Plans, but uses more Luxury Elements.


  3. Modern Art Deco

    Art Deco (short for Arts Decoratifs) is a design movement that started in France after World War I. It is characterized by Rich Colors, Bold Geometric Shapes and Luxurious Materials. Some features of Art Deco include metallic finishes in Gold, Silver and Brass, High End Wood, Silk, Velvet, Leather, Decorative Mirrors, Chandeliers, Bold Patterned Carpets, Eye Catching Wall Papers and Art Work that standout. Colors could be a contrast of Bold Rich Colors like Red/Green/Blue/Purple with neutral,ones like White/Beige/Grey.

  4. Indian Neo Classical

    Indian Neoclassical interior style combines the classic principles of symmetry, muted colors, and architectural details like columns with modern luxury and Indian cultural elements. Key features include Columns and Arches, a Neutral Color Palette with Metallic and Marble accents, and Furniture that is symmetrical with Clean lines. The style is sophisticated, featuring muted colors, opulent materials like Marble, Dark Wood, Brass or Gold, decorative elements such as Ornate Moldings, Layered Drapes, and Chandeliers. This style is a blend of Traditional and Contemporary Design


  5. Traditional Kerala Style

    The traditional Interior Style of Kerala includes Open Courtyards, Laterite Blocks , Clay Tiles, Wooden Pillars and Brass Fittings / accessories.

  6. Traditional Chettinad Style

    Chettinad Style is similar to the Kerala Architectural Style and is centered around the Courtyard. Though similar to Kerala Style, Chettinad Houses are visibly different from their Kerala Counterparts. Materials used include Athangudi Tiles, carved wood and Brass fittings.


  7. Wabi Sabi

    Wabi-Sabi Architectural Style which comes from Zen Buddhism celebrates the beauty of things that are Imperfect, Impermanent, and Incomplete. It values Natural Materials, Earthy Tones, and Asymmetrical Forms.



  8. Biophilic

    Biophilic Style's Central theme is creating a connection between home and Nature by including Natural Light, Views of Nature, Plants, Natural Materials, Textures, and Patterns.

     

  9. Mediterranean

    Mediterranean interior design is a style inspired by the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, featuring a relaxed and airy aesthetic that combines rustic and natural elements with a focus on natural light and indoor-outdoor living. Key features include white and earthy-toned walls, natural materials like wood and stone, vibrant textiles, and architectural details such as arches


  10. Rustic

    Rustic Interior Style is a Simple, Coarse, and Unpretentious Style that employs Raw natural materials like Raw Wood, Stone and Metal. The aim of this style is to design a home that is warm, inviting, and natural both in looks and material usage.
